Doctor in Communication and Semiotics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP). Architect and urban planner (School of Engineering of São Carlos - USP). Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Communication at Universidade Paulista (UNIP-SP), member of the Research Group in Media and Studies of the Imaginary at UNIP and of the Interdisciplinary Center for Semiotics of Culture and Media at PUC/SP. Postdoctoral fellow at the School of Communication at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He was president of the National Association of Graduate Programs in Communication-Compós, biennium 2019-2021. Member of GT Capes -SBPC. He was Academic Dean (Centro Universitário Modulo-Caraguatatuba / SP), Director of Teaching Planning (Centro Universitário de Maringá-Maringá / PR) and Special Advisor to the Dean of Extension (Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul / SP).

Profa. Dra. Barbara Heller

Graduated in Literary Theory from the State University of Campinas (1982), Master in Communication Sciences from the University of São Paulo (1990) and PhD in Literary Theory from the State University of Campinas (1997). She has a Post-Doctorate in Communication from Universidade Metodista (2011); and Post-Doctorate in Communication from the School of Communication and Arts at USP (2015). Leader of the Narratives of Memory Research Group: Representations, Identities and Cultures (CNPq) and founding member of the Rememora research network. She was founder, vice-coordinator and coordinator of the Working Group "Memory in the Media", of the Association of Graduate Programs in Communication (Compós) (2015-2017). Currently, she presides over the Associação Libertas Poéticas, working at the Women's Penitentiary in the Capital (PFC), for remission of sentence for reading.

Areas of Interest: communication and literature, with emphasis on the following topics: censorship, social memory, reading, print media.

Profa. Dra. Adriana da Rosa Amaral

Researcher at CNPq with a Productivity Scholarship. Coordinator of CULTPOP - Research Laboratory in Pop Culture, Communication and Technologies. She did a Post-Doctorate in Communication, Media and Culture at the University of Surrey (UK). PhD in Social Communication from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) with a Doctoral Internship in Sociology of Communication at Boston College (USA). She was a visiting professor and researcher at the University of Salford (UK) and at the Universität of Duisburg-Essen (Germany, 2016). She is a member of the Aoir-Association of Internet Researchers and is part of the Tik Tok Cultures Research Network and the National Research Network in Communication and Music. She is national coordinator of projects with Germany such as "RISE 2020 Social Media Analytics", SMAVAC and "PROBRAL / CAPES" funded by the European Union, Germany's DFG and Capes. She was Editor of Fronteiras-Estudos Midiaticos Magazine (2014-2019) and Interin (2006-2010) and professor at PPG Communication at UNISINOS for 12 years.

Prof. Dr. Antonio Adami

Graduated in Portuguese from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC/SP) (1985). PhD in Semiotics and Linguistics from FFLCH-USP (1994). He holds a Post-Doctorate in Communication and Semiotics from PUC-SP (2010); and Post-Doctorate in Communication from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (2014). Guest Professor at the Faculdad de Ciencias de la Información at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain) since 2014. He was Temporary Professor in Medialogy at UNICAMP (2014-2015). In 2010, he was responsible for the elaboration and execution of the Radio, Television and Press Collection of the Museum of History of the State of São Paulo-MHESP.

Coordinator of the Research Group "Means and Media in the context of post-truth" and researcher at the Center for Studies in Art, Media and Politics at PUC-SP.

Graduated in Advertising from PUC/MG. She has a Post-Doctorate in Communication Sciences from the School of Communications and Arts at the University of São Paulo (ECA-USP). She is a Doctor and Master by the same Institution. Vice-leader of the Study Group for the Analysis of Audiovisual Products (GRUPA) at UNIP. She was a researcher at the Center for Telenovela Studies at ECA-USP (CETVN) and at the Ibero-American Observatory of Television Fiction OBITEL for ten years; vice-coordinator of the Obitel Brasil-USP group (2016-2018). Member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, organizer of the Emmy Awards.

Profa. Dra. Heloísa de Araújo Duarte Valente

PhD in Communication and Semiotics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, with an internship at the School of Advanced Studies in Social Sciences (EHESS, Paris). She has a Post-Doctorate at the School of Communication and Arts at USP. She founded the Center for Music and Media Studies (MusiMid). She is the creator and responsible for holding the Music and Media Meetings, held annually since 2005. Collaborating professor at the Graduate Program in Music at the University of São Paulo (PPGMUS). She was a guest professor at the Universities of Mexico (2002), Aveiro (2010) and Nacional de Uruguay (2014). Member of the Board of Directors of the Latin American Association for the Study of Popular Music (IASPM-AL) (2014-2016; 2016-2018). Member of the GRIMCEL Group (Universidad de Oviedo) and Caravelas - Nucleus of Studies in the History of Luso-Brazilian Music (CESEM, FCSH-UNL). Editor of the Brazilian Journal of Studies in Music and Media.

Profa. Dra. Issaaf Santos Karhawi

Doctor and Master in Communication Sciences from the School of Communications and Arts of the University of São Paulo (ECA-USP). She developed post-doctoral research, with a PDJ-CNPq grant, at the Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (Unisinos). She graduated in Social Communication with a degree in Journalism from the Federal University of Mato Grosso (UFMT). She is the author of the book “From blogger to influencer: professionalization stages of the Brazilian fashion blogosphere” (Ed. Sulina, 2020). Currently, she works as scientific manager of the GP Tecnologias e Culturas Digitais at Intercom and as a researcher at the Research Group in Communication and Digital Media, COM+, at ECA-USP. She is a member of the Association of Internet Researchers (AoIR).

Prof. Dr. Jorge Miklos

Graduated in History, Social Sciences and Psychology. Master in Religious Sciences and Doctor in Communication from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP). He holds a Post-Doctorate in Communication from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He carried out a research internship at Vilém-Flusser-Archiv (Berlin/ALE) and at Colegio de la Frontera Sur (ECOSUR) (San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas/MEX). Vice-Leader of the Media and Imaginary Studies Research Group. Member of CISC - Interdisciplinary Center for Semiotics of Culture and Media, linked to the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. He is part of the Executive Team as an Associate Member of the Ecumenical Center for Services to Evangelization and Popular Education (CESEEP).

Profa. Dra. Malena Segura Contrera

PhD in Communication and Semiotics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP) (2001). She carried out a Post-Doctorate at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2008), and research internships in Seville / Spain, on Communication Policy (2000); in Vienna/Austria, on Multiculturalism and Media (1998) and in Berlin/Germany, on Mimesis and Media Rituals (2010).
She has been a guest professor at the University of Valdivia (Chile), the University of Valencia (Spain) and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain). She is also a specialist in Jungian Psychology (IJEP, 2013) and a Jungian analyst. She was for several years (until 2006) a professor at the Faculty of Communication and Arts at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, where she implemented and coordinated the Journalism course (1999 to 2004). He was a member of the Interdisciplinary Center for Research in Semiotics of Culture and Media, at PUC/SP (CISC) (1992-2018), he is currently the leader of the Research Group on Media and Studies of the Imaginary, at UNIP (since 2005). She was the proposer of the WG in Image and Media Imaginary at Compós. She is a research productivity fellow at CNPq.

He holds a Post-Doctorate in Communication and Semiotics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP); and Post-Doctorate in Communication from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). Director of the Semiopol Research Group - Semiopolitics of sociocultural and media processes; he is also a member of the Sociosemiotic Research Center at PUC in São Paulo and of the Associazione Italiana di Studi Semiotici.
